"Medication Mismanagement Overshadows Positive Aspects at Parkside"
Parkside Senior Living is a cozy place that feels like home. The staff are dedicated, kind, and caring. When we were looking for a good home, our main worry was about the proper handling of medications. Unfortunately, from day one, there were constant issues with her medicine. In the first month, she even got someone else's medicine, and neither she nor we were told about this mix-up. There was a lot of confusion and poor communication about ordering prescriptions. They were so disorganized in ordering refills that some medicines even ran out. We met with the person in charge to express our worries, but we were totally disregarded. While we appreciated most of what Parkside Senior Living provided, their inability to properly manage medications is a major concern for anyone trusting them to take care of their loved ones.

"Poor care and crude staff at assisted living facility"
My dad really disliked it here. He told me that the workers would hang out right outside his door and gossip about him. He also said they'd be really rough when getting him dressed or pushing his wheelchair. When I went to visit his room, it smelled strongly like pee. I saw a lady lying on the floor across the hallway and she had been waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to come assist her. The lady in charge means well and tries her best, but she's let down by an uncaring staff.

"Clean and Friendly Assisted Living"
Things are going well for my mom. The staff at Brookdale Neenah is friendly, and the place is clean. I’d recommend it.

"Mom enjoyed meals, activities, and staff, but preferred home."
My mom liked going there. She enjoyed the food and the things they did. The people who took care of her were okay. She had a good time while she was there, but she really wanted to be back home. Overall, it was a nice experience for her.

"Good location, small rooms, some activities."
Nice facility across the street from a park. It has wander controls on the doors to alert staff if anyone leaves. The rooms are very tiny, 11x11. There are some activities.

"Room for Improvement at Sterling House"
Sterling House did a pretty good job taking care of my loved one, but there were some small issues. For instance, the room wasn't always clean until I asked them to clean it. Also, they relied too much on pushing him in a wheelchair instead of letting him walk. Overall, not bad, but room for improvement.

"Recommended by friends, good start with ongoing improvements."
I heard good things about Sterling House of Neenah from two friends, so I had high expectations. It turned out to be a good place. When my father arrived needing a lot of help, the first week was tough for our family and for him. The staff supported us through a really hard time. Things are improving, but we still have challenges ahead.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
We picked this place for my loved one as her needs grew, and they mostly take good care of her. The workers are nice and do well with her care and activities. I think they could be cleaner though.

"Studio-Style Units with Shared Shower"
The tour was okay. I like apartments better. All the units are like studios, and there's a shared shower in the hallway.
