"Mom wants a one-bedroom, awaiting response from facility"
Mom really loves it here and wants a one-bedroom now. I left a message and am waiting for a reply.

"Mixed Impressions at Muskego Assisted Living"
We visited another ProHealth Care Regency in New Berlin. Compared to that one, this Muskego location seemed older and less updated. The apartments were smaller and had fewer options. However, we did appreciate the staff.

"Delicious Meals, Limited Space"
The meals are delivered to our rooms due to COVID, and sometimes we need to heat them up. But the dining room menu is very good. They offer exercise classes and weekly bingo. Our apartments are nice, but storage space is limited.

"Facilities Improving But Still Limited by Virus Restrictions"
I signed up for an assisted living apartment in March, but the waiting period was a bit unsettling due to concerns about the virus for both current and future residents. When I moved in, many precautions were still in place, like having all meals in our own apartments and some common areas being closed for activities and individual use. These restrictions have been easing over time, but general visitors are still not allowed. The dining room setup, with people spread far apart, makes it hard to have conversations, so socializing isn’t as easy as long-time residents remember. All social programs still require people to stay apart.

"Nice facilities, but mom worried about distance and construction"
The facilities were nice. There was construction on the parking lot. It was my mom’s first tour, and it was tough for her emotionally. She liked the big walk-in closet in the apartment but wasn’t happy about the long hallways. She also liked the walk-in shower instead of a tub. Her biggest concern was that it felt too far from her children.

"Regency: A Welcoming Home with Great Care"
We appreciate the Regency Director’s assistance in our aunt and uncle’s smooth move to their new apartment. The Loge is welcoming for both independent and assisted living residents. Helpful staff and great food make it a positive experience.

"Mixed Feelings: Assisted Living with Isolated Independent Living Areas"
This place is nice and well-kept. They have an interesting setup: the main building is for folks who need help, and there are three other buildings for those who can do more on their own. The buildings look good, and there are some nice floor plans. But we didn't pick it for my mom because we worried she wouldn't have many chances to socialize. She'd have to take a bus from her building to the main one for activities. It seemed like folks in the other buildings didn't interact much. They might say hi if they bumped into each other, or if someone who'd been there a while made an effort to visit Mom. It's a nice place, and the staff seem nice too. But it's best suited for seniors who can really do things on their own.

"Decent Living Facility with Overly Jovial Tour Guide"
The rooms are pretty nice and there aren't a lot of people hanging out in the common areas. There's a smell of newly popped popcorn. But, the person showing us around laughed more than seemed normal.

"Safe and happy living for mom in friendly community setting!"
My mom's doing great since moving here. Her apartment's clean, and staff quickly fix any issues. I like that there are staff around 24/7 in case of emergencies. Mom's enjoying activities and making friends at the community center.

"Wonderful place with lots of activities and friendly staff!"
Thanks to A Place for Mom, I recently moved my aunt to Prohealth Care Regency. She had been alone most of her life and just recovered from a stroke after a year in rehab. After two months, everything has been fantastic! There are tons of activities and events to keep residents active. Every person we’ve met—staff, residents, and others—has been warm and welcoming. The apartment we found was nice and within budget, with a washer/dryer and a deck with a lovely view of the woods. The only downside is that the independent living apartments are separate from the main building, but Regency has a shuttle service to pick up and drop off residents. It’s also an easy walk if your loved one is able. They host many events weekly in each manor’s lobby, like happy hour socials, pet therapy, and guest speakers. These activities are great for socializing and staying engaged. All the residents we’ve talked to love living here. If you’re looking for a place for your loved one, this should be at the top of your list!

"Great for family visits and independent living"
My mom is doing better. She's joining more activities and seems much happier. The community is nice and clean. My mom makes her own meals, and the amenities are good for cooking. This place is in a great spot for all our family to visit her. I would recommend this home. My husband and I would even live here in the future!

"Mom's Place Tour: Pleasant but Too Big for Comfort"
I visited Mom's Place recently and found it quite nice. During the tour, everyone was really nice and friendly. The place looked neat and tidy, and the staff were helpful and told us lots of useful stuff. However, the place seemed too big for my mom. I was worried she might feel overwhelmed. The rooms looked nice though, and overall, the tour was enjoyable.

"Great Community with On-Site Clinic and Friendly Staff"
My father has settled in nicely at this community. They have fun activities and tasty meals. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is decent but could be healthier. Overall, it's a good place for a fair price, and there's a clinic right on-site, so he gets treated in his apartment if he gets sick.

"Great for independent living with help and flexible activities"
The best part of Regency is you can live on your own, knowing help is nearby if needed. You can join any trip you want. If you want to relax and do nothing some days, that's okay too.

"Peaceful independence with helpful assistance at the Regency."
Living at the Regency is cool because you can be on your own most of the time but still feel safe knowing there are folks nearby if you need them. You can join any trip you fancy, and it's totally okay if you want to take a break and chill some days.

"Facility requires moving when personal care is no longer possible"
We went for a visit at this place, but they told us my mother-in-law would need to leave when she couldn't take care of herself anymore. We don't want to move her more than once.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
The place was alright. We didn't like the person we met; she was kinda mean. We were going through a lot and needed kindness. The assisted living was in a different building from the independent area. It was a long walk to get to the mail or the other building, especially for someone using a walker. If you only need senior housing, it's probably fine. We talked to someone in the main building, and they seemed happy with it. There were a few people in wheelchairs in the foyer, but not many people around. It just didn't meet our needs well.

"Closer to Home and Safer Too"
The best thing for us is that it’s only 10 minutes from our house. Before, we were a half hour or forty minutes away from my mother-in-law, so this is much more convenient. We just picked her up yesterday for a family picnic, and it was really nice. The people there are so nice. My mother-in-law likes to be alone, so she doesn’t join in all the wonderful activities they offer. Even some of the ladies who live in her building are very nice. They come and tell her everything that’s happening, and they sit outside and eat together. It’s really nice. As far as I know, my mother-in-law is paying for everything. She is paying less for her one-bedroom apartment than she was before. This place is so much better because she had fallen in her other apartment getting out of the tub, and this one has a walk-in tub. It’s very nice.

"Beautiful community, but small apartments with limited windows"
This place is beautiful inside and out. The grounds and indoor/outdoor spaces are gorgeous. The apartments, though, are just two small rooms, and only one has an outside window.
