"Disregard this Facility: Poor Care, Dangerous Conditions, Unlicensed Staff"
Definitely avoid this facility. Residents have bruises and scrapes. The laundry gets mixed up and put in the wrong rooms. The facility is in bad condition, with nails sticking out of walls and paint peeling off. The caregivers don't even have the right licenses. Workers keep going outside to smoke in their cars. All the residents just sit in front of the TV without anyone talking to them. There are much better places you can choose!

"Excellent care and friendly staff at Serenity Homes"
The place is really nice. You can always talk to the staff when you need to. They’re very friendly and always willing to chat. He was really happy living there. They kept him clean and well-groomed. I’d definitely suggest Serenity Homes to anyone.

"Friendly Residents and Spacious Rooms"
The assisted living facility has a community cat, and the rooms are quite spacious. I had a chance to chat with some residents, who mentioned it was pleasant. The staff was also very friendly. Unfortunately, I couldn't choose this community due to the cat.

"Effective Management"
After only a brief time, it's clear that this facility is capably managed by Bethany Firkus. The staff handles dementia-related behaviors effectively.

"Dismal Conditions and Broken Promises at Local Assisted Living Facility"
I couldn't believe what I saw in this place. It was dirty, the furniture was awful, there was a terrifyingly loud alarm right when you walk in. Having a key doesn't stop it. The manager said they're trying to get it fixed. Everyone living there seemed to be in their own world. Nobody seemed to be helping them. It felt so unfriendly and cold when I tried to interact. I was standing by a window, sunlight shining on empty seats. The stench coming from those seats was terrible. This place clearly needs a lot of help. It looks like they know that but don't have enough money. Their brochure showed a pretty garden but it's really just overgrown. Too many promises of things "we're planning to do". It just didn't feel right. And that alarm! It was so loud it hurt my ears, and it was too close to the rooms. I get using it if there's a break in but it goes off even when you use a key.

"Disappointing Facility Lacks Care and Maintenance; Shockingly Loud Alarm"
My visit to this particular care home was shocking. It was clear from first sight that the cleanliness was severely lacking - the furniture was in terrible condition. They also have this alarm that screams so loud as you walk in, even if you have a key. According to the manager, a fix for this was supposedly on the way. The state of the residents was heartbreaking - everyone looked hollow, maybe from illness, but there was no staff attending to them. I tried to initiate a conversation, but was met with a chilling, impersonal vibe. I will never forget the sight of the sunlight streaming in on deserted chairs, the nauseating stench wafting from them. They clearly need a substantial makeover, and although they seem to recognize it, they lack sufficient funding. The image painted by their promotional brochures was a stark contrast to the reality – the lovely floral garden pictured was merely a weedy mess. The many promises and future plans they mention just didn't align with the current state of affairs, it felt wrong. And the alarm! So painfully loud, I found myself covering my ears. It's baffling that it is located just 15 feet away from the resident's rooms. I could understand its activation for intruders, but it blares even when you use a key.
