"Friendly staff and activities, but late move-in adjustment made."
They have a Catholic mass every Sunday, which is important to my loved ones. They also offer bridge, so the activities calendar is really good. There's plenty of parking. The staff is friendly, and the community is clean. The place wasn't ready on time as promised, but they did adjust the rent.

"Great activities and responsive management, but food choices are limited"
The food choices are limited, but it’s a new feature. They offer a lot of activities. Management is very responsive. It feels more independent because it offers both independent and assisted living, but care is available if needed.

"Small, active, but distant; outdated; stove tops are risky."
I was impressed by the activity level and small size. It had around 70 residents, which made it feel cozy. The only downside was its distance from our home; it was too far. The place needs some updates, especially with the dark cabinetry. It seems like it was an old apartment building converted into assisted living. I was surprised to see stove tops in the apartments, which is unusual. I worried it might be risky for my father-in-law since he could forget to turn off the stove.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Great Services!"
Summit Woods provides excellent services. My parents can live independently (Dad) and receive assisted living (Mom) in the same apartment. The staff is friendly, and there are plenty of daily activities. We’re considering living there in the future!
