"Assisted Living Review: Small Community, New Leadership, Staff Challenges"
Mom looked at a lot, but picked the room in Jefferson at Sunset Ridge. It's a small group, which helps everyone get close like a family. Having carpet all over is good. The leaders are new and still learning. Like a lot of places, they struggle to keep staff, which makes it tough for the people who live there. Sometimes, it's hard to talk to them and get things done.

"Friendly Staff and Personalized Care, but Activities Could Improve"
The staff here are really friendly. They don’t have many people working right now, but everyone is nice and caring. Since it's a smaller place with about 16 people, the care feels more personal for each resident. The activities could use some improvement because there isn’t much happening. However, I understand the activities director is focusing more on care due to the staffing issue. I would recommend Sunset Ridge to others who are looking.

"Great care and fun activities make Sunset Ridge a top choice"
Sunset Ridge is a safe and clean place where the staff really gets to know everyone. The activity director is great and plans lots of fun things to do. My loved one is happy here. I'm always welcome and have joined in many activities. Check out the Sunset Ridge Facebook page to see all the smiling faces.

"Owners Ruin Once-Great Assisted Living Facility"
This place used to be really good until the owners kicked out the head administrator. They wrongly made their buddy an LPN when they weren't qualified to be one. They also kicked out the assistant administrator and many of the great staff members. This place that used to be awesome for both the residents and the staff, is now a place I'd never want to put someone I care about, nor would I want to work here.
