"Neglect and Broken Promises: Stay Far from This Facility"
If you truly care about your relative, don't take them here! They make a ton of promises when you sign the documents, but they never follow through. If you're okay with your dear one sitting in dirty underpants for hours on end, then this might be just the place for you. Sometimes you can hear residents screaming for assistance from their rooms, but no one comes. Occasionally, just two caregivers are on shift to look after everyone. When it's time to eat, not every resident is taken to the table. I'm telling you, if you really love your relative, DON'T take them here!

""Neglected Residents: A Warning Against This Assisted Living Facility""
If you love your family members, do not let them go here! They aren't being looked after as they should be. If you're okay with them sitting in dirty clothes for hours on end, then this might be the place for you. At mealtimes, some aren't even taken to the dining area. You can hear residents crying out from their rooms, unattended. How can everyone receive the necessary care when there are only two caregivers on duty? I could say much more, but the key message is: if you truly care about them, do not let them stay here!

"Broken Promises and Poor Care at This Assisted Living Facility"
If you care about your loved one, don't choose this facility! The assurances they give when you admit them are broken. They don't take good care of the people living here!

"Avoid This Facility: Poor Treatment, Amenities, and Communication"
This facility is simply the bottom of the barrel – I’d never dream of letting them care for even an ill-tempered wild animal, let alone someone I cared about. One of my relatives was stuck in this disaster of a place and it seemed like they never bothered to help him with basic hygiene. This was happening pre-Covid, so who knows what nightmares are going on now. Just today, I found out through the grapevine that he passed away almost a week ago. My mom and I were listed as his emergency contacts – she took care of him for 24 years before he landed here. We used to visit him often, even celebrated his most recent birthday with him. But when he died, they didn't even bother to tell us. What's worse, I've found patients randomly wandering outside on two separate visits. Somehow, they were escaping this supposed secure facility. My relative also wasn’t eating well, which I pointed out numerous times. However, whenever I was around, I made sure he had a proper meal. Otherwise, they would just toss out uneaten food within minutes. Do me a favor – avoid causing someone you care about the torture of living here. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

"Poor Communication & Service at Tender Reflections in Weston"
Tender Reflections in Weston, Wisconsin is beyond disappointing. We had a hard time reaching them during the COVID-19 outbreak, which is a time when staying connected with our loved ones is critical. My wife and I tried for four straight days, dialing their number at 10:00am, then 2:00pm, next at 6:30pm, and again at 7:00 pm, but with no luck. They lack a crucial feature - an answering machine or service, and I’m not kidding when I say we let the phone ring 78 times on one occasion. All the stellar ratings they've received don't make sense to us, and we're guessing it must be insiders giving them five stars. Our advice to anyone that cares about their family member's well-being: steer clear of Tender Reflections in Weston, Wisconsin.

"Avoid Tender Reflections: Staff Rude and Neglectful of Residents"
Definitely avoid placing your family member in this senior care home. The employees are downright disrespectful and mocking. It's even worse trying to reach them as they never pick up the calls. They don't allow you to communicate with the elders either. Attempting to get their attention is pretty much like trying to instruct a hog to figure skate on jelly. There are numerous superior homes for seniors in the Wausau, Schofield, and Weston regions. Do yourselves a huge favor and steer clear of Tender Reflections if you want your relative to be treated right. The staff here couldn't care less about your family member.

"Poor Care at Assisted Living Facility for severe Alzheimer's Patients"
This place isn't suited for people with advanced Alzheimer's or Dementia. In just four days there, my husband suffered daily bruises from falling out of his wheelchair and bed.

"Good Start, Poor Follow-up Leads to Facility Switch"
At first, the care and welcome were top-notch. But when the facility got a new boss and team, things didn't go smoothly. There wasn't enough time spent chatting and hanging out with the other folks living there and the staff. So, we decided to switch to a different place.

"Awful owners oblivious to problems, urgently moved Mom out"
The managers were fine, but the owners were simply terrible. They have no clue about what's really happening in their facilities. I had to get my mom out of there without delay. So disappointing.

"Terrible Experience - Unsafe and Poorly Managed Facility"
There's a lot wrong with this place, it's not being managed properly at all. The folks in charge seem to not even care. The staff here are underqualified and there's not even enough of them. We were told a bunch of things that would be done for my parents during our tour, but none of that came through. The residents don't have emergency call buttons, and although they say they check in every half an hour, that's just not happening. My family has to take care of bathing my dad, but they still charge us like they're doing it. There was a fight between two residents, and all the staff did was panic. Since it just doesn't seem safe here, I decided to leave. The food is alright, and the daily activities they advertise may not even happen.

"Poor Management and Broken Promises at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is an absolute mess. It's so poorly managed. It could not be any less interested. They lack sufficient staff who also have zero training. Promises made regarding my parents' care during our visitation were only a bluff. Absent is the call button they claimed to have plus they never do the every half-hour checkups. Though we personally take care of my father's bathing, they still charge us for it. Two inhabitants even had a fistfight and the clueless staff members could only yell in confusion. I had to intervene myself and afterwards, handed in my 30-day notice. This place just isn't safe. The food is so-so and the daily activities are hit or miss.

"Beautiful but lacks a homey feel"
Really nice place, it’s beautiful, and they have new wings. The facility is gorgeous. However, it didn’t feel homey to me. There weren't many activities, and they didn’t focus on residents being social, which my loved one needed. I talked to some families with loved ones here, and they liked it. The only thing was the high staff turnover, which would make it hard for a memory care patient.
