"Be Cautious: Tennyson Living Doesn’t Get Our Approval"
If you’re checking out places to live for help and care, it’s super important to look up all the info you can. Even if the person selling you the place seems super sweet and makes big promises, don’t forget they might not actually know what’s really going on where people live day-to-day. From what we’ve gone through with Tennyson Retirement Living, we’d say nope to telling other folks to live there.

"Good care and clean facilities with minor food issues"
My loved one lives at Tennyson Retirement Living, and it's been good overall. Like many places, they have staffing issues, but things seem more stable now. The facilities are great and clean. The food is okay but not a big deal. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

"Great care and fun activities at Tennyson Senior Living"
Tennyson Senior Living is a wonderful place with nice common areas, beautiful views, and modern spaces. With the new management, there are some truly outstanding people taking care of my parents. The Activity Director is caring and has set up lots of fun activities like movies, bingo, games, book club, happy hour, jewelry making, card games, a nail salon, crafts, and road trips. She is enthusiastic and gets residents involved in these activities. Check out her Facebook posts! The Marketing Director makes sure the places are warm and inviting, and she organizes special events like Casino Night and Candy Canes & Cocktails. RA is a skilled and caring professional who provides high-quality care, is very thorough, and listens to family concerns.

"Friendly staff, open spaces, in-person communication during visits"
The staff here are friendly. There are nice open areas for residents to enjoy. Usually, the staff talk to me in person when I visit.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Tour"
Our family took an in-person tour, and it was decent. However, we didn't like that the memory care residents were isolated on the second floor.

"Mixed Experience at Tennyson Assisted Living"
When considering Tennyson for your loved one, interview other places. Tennyson's building is okay, but there are problems with the staff. Some caregivers seem not so great. Finding workers is tough, but just hiring anyone isn't good when caring for vulnerable people. We noticed some concerning things with the caregivers. Others in my family noticed too. The administration is good, but the head nurse wasn't great. They replaced her, which is good. We talked to management about our concerns, and they took action, which helped. For example, when we visited, our loved one's room was dirty, and the staff were watching inappropriate TV shows. The room is much cleaner now, and some staff have changed. Things are improving, but it wasn't great at first. We didn't get to meet all the staff when we first visited, so I recommend looking into the place thoroughly. Also, the meals could be better. We're staying with Tennyson for now, and things are getting better, but it was rough at the beginning. They explained the challenges of finding staff, but improvements are happening.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Staffing and Cleanliness"
The workers in memory care don't know how to help the people living there, and there aren't enough workers for the number of people. The place wasn't clean either. My family member had poop on their shower seat, and it stayed there for days. We've had lots of worries, especially about medicines. The bosses have tried to fix things when we tell them about it.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Visit"
Our family visited the assisted living facility in person, and it was just okay. We weren't very impressed—the rooms were smaller, and it was more expensive. The staff members weren't very friendly.

"Limited rooms, cold atmosphere during tour"
They only had studio rooms, which was a downside. The building felt cold to me during the tour.
