"Good service and care with room for improvement"
It’s tough to rate just with a number because the staff changes so often. Also, since I live in the independent part, the care is different here. It’s a bit tricky for me since I have a food allergy that affects my daily choices. But overall, the service is good, and the quality and amount of care are nice. There are some issues, as there are with most senior housing, but the staff respects our differences and usually tries to make us happy. The activities director is good, but there’s room for improvement. They are working on a new ambassador program to help new residents adjust and feel comfortable asking questions. Most of the time, I’m really glad to be here.

"Great care and kindness at Menomonee Falls Arboretum"
My dad was in Memory Care at this place three years ago, and my mom was in Independent Living until February 2024. The staff at Menomonee Falls Arboretum were incredibly kind and took great care of our family members. The place is clean, well-run, and peaceful. My mom felt comfortable and happy living there. While nothing compares to living with family, I think the Arboretum is the best choice when home care isn’t possible. Thank you to the staff at The Arboretum for all your care.

"Friendly staff and beautiful views, but tour needed"
The staff is really friendly. I wish we had a tour of the whole place. We chose this facility because it’s close by and has great views of nature.

"Great apartments but move-in process needs improvement"
I like the place and the apartments. However, the welcome we received on move-in day wasn't great. They could improve that process. We chose this place based on your recommendation and needed something quickly.

"Good care but some issues with activities and meal plans"
I'm not entirely sure about the care services here, but they seem good. I would rate it higher if some of the staff weren't so busy with new residents. I had trouble with my meal plan because of my allergy. Also, many residents don’t join in on activities, so we’re trying to change that. I knew the cost would be high for those of us still independent. But overall, I like it here; it’s MUCH BETTER than [community name removed], where I was happy until recently.

"Great care, good food, and affordable with some staff issues"
They do a really good job in every way. Sometimes they don’t have enough staff. My loved ones really enjoy the food and haven't been let down. There are lots of activities to join. They're also working on a big remodeling project, and it looks great. We chose this place because it was affordable and fit our budget. The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing. I would suggest this place to other families and definitely recommend using A Place for Mom for help.

"Friendly Staff, But Care and Cleanliness Fall Short"
The people working here are super nice, and we really like the ones we’ve met. The meals seem pretty tasty, and the place is in a great spot for us. But, there’s some stuff that’s not so great because they don’t have enough workers and people keep leaving. We get it’s not their fault, but it’s starting to bug us. It’s not very clean, and it feels like they’re not taking care of things the way they should. We just want to hang out and have fun when we visit, not spend our time cleaning up.

"Friendly community with easy move-in and fun activities"
This place has a really friendly atmosphere. The process to get your loved one settled in is easy, and they offer great help during the move. There are fun activities like ice cream socials, outdoor movies, and cream puff events for the residents to enjoy.

"Inconsistent Care in Memory Unit"
My family member stays in the memory care unit. He struggles with incontinence, but the staff isn't great at helping him stay clean. It's been bothering me a lot. I'd suggest being aware and visiting often to keep an eye out for these issues. They do a good job of keeping the building clean, though. My loved one enjoys the activities and is thriving. His overall health has improved, and he's gained weight. But I've had to keep reminding them about the incontinence problem.

"Great staff, big rooms, well-organized community"
I highly recommend this assisted living community. The director of nursing and marketing were awesome to work with. They quickly addressed any concerns we had. Our loved one's room was really big, and the community was well-organized.

"Older Facility with Limited Medical Support"
This is an older place that could use some upgrades. The care and activities are good when the residents are healthy. But when someone gets very sick or has a long-term illness, this might not be the best place. They don’t have skilled nursing care, no onsite pharmacy, and only a few doctor visits, so residents often have to go to the ER for treatment.

"Great Community, Activities, and Support at Arboretum Assisted Living"
I've lived at the Arboretum for 5 years now. In that time, I've made lots of friends, joined many activities, and found help whenever I needed it. They provide transportation for shopping, plays, and restaurants. The meals are well-prepared and offer many choices. Overall, I'm really happy living at the Arboretum.

"Quality of care declines without full payment."
If I could go back, I wouldn't house my family here. While we were paying in full, everything was good. But when the funds ran out, the care got poorer and they wanted us gone.

"Nice Place, But Pricey"
We visited this place while considering options for our family member. It looked really nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, it cost more than other places we checked out, and I didn't think they offered enough services and amenities to justify the higher price.
