The Waterford at Oshkosh

"Great location and inclusive care make this a recommended choice."
I chose this place because it's in a good spot, has nice rooms, and is close to the dining room. Overall, it's been a good experience and my mom likes living there. I also appreciate that they don't separate residents with dementia from everyone else. I would recommend it.

"Good care, but communication about Covid-19 needs improvement"
Overall, my mom has received great care. However, there are a few things that need improvement. Since Covid-19, it has been confusing to understand the current rules and plans for seeing my mom safely. Also, when my mom goes to essential appointments, we were told she would need to quarantine for 7 days, but then caregivers said it was 14 days. This caused a lot of frustration! Later, it was changed back to 7 days. The communication about these changes needs to be more clear and consistent.

"Nice Place with Young Staff and Plenty of Food"
It was a really nice place. The food wasn’t the best, but there was a lot of it. The rooms were a good size and the community layout was nice. They had outdoor space for the residents. The staff is very young and all have tattoos.

"Clean, friendly staff, but needs better orientation"
I think they could provide more information about the community when you first move in. The orientation process could be better. There's no community bulletin board for exercise classes or activities. The community is very clean and well-maintained. The staff has been helpful and friendly. It's a single-floor community with the lobby and cafeteria in the center. They offer continuing care, so my parents can stay together in the same room.

"A Friendly Place Where Residents Get Good Care"
The Waterford at Oshkosh is a nice place. My mom was a bit confused and needed some time to get used to moving there, but now she's doing well. The staff are kind and take good care of her. They offer different activities every day and make sure everyone knows about them and can join if they want. They also make sure the residents eat at meal times and check on them from time to time to see if they need anything.
