"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My dad took some time to adjust, but eventually felt comfortable. He had personal issues that kept him in his room, but they brought him food. It was tough to reach management, though they did respond to emails. The caregivers were good, but the on-site doctor didn't always show up. Overall, the staff was attentive and handled his ostomy care well.

"Great young caregivers, but one older staff member struggles"
There are some really great young caregivers here who truly care about their jobs. However, there is one older worker who doesn't connect well with my mom and gets upset if she falls. Not everyone is suited for caregiving. But overall, my mom is happy with the care she receives.

This place isn't great. The nurse doesn't look after the patients well. They don't have enough nurses or caregivers. It's not very professional.

This place is small with only 20 apartments, but it's well organized. The staff treats everyone nicely, and it's really clean. However, there are some things the management could improve. They don't have enough staff, sometimes only 2 people are working. There are long waits for the bathroom, especially at night. Overall, I'd need more time here before recommending it.

I visited this place, it was alright. It felt gloomy. The workers were kind, answered my questions. However, there's a $60 charge to give my wife her medicine. It looks like a modified home. They don't take family care or Medicaid.

When I visited this place, it was just alright. It felt kind of dreary and old. However, the employees were kind and helpful and provided all the answers I needed. But, there was a surprise charge of $60 just to give my wife her medicine. The place reminded me of a house that was expanded to become this facility. Unfortunately, they don't accept family care or Medicaid here.

"Disappointment over Nursing Home Atmosphere in Assisted Living Facility"
When I first entered the building, I noticed that the residents seemed to be from a nursing home. The person giving me the tour mentioned there was another building with residents who were more mentally alert, but we didn't get to see it. Honestly, I wasn't really impressed. The rooms looked decent and the place was clean. But the atmosphere felt too much like a nursing home for me, which was a letdown.

I'm really happy with everything. I visit my mom often. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The owners are around if you need to talk about anything. If someone needs a place for their loved one, I’d definitely recommend Vista Pointe. It’s a great community. The place is clean and well-maintained. The value and care services are excellent.

I would recommend this assisted living to anyone. It’s a great value. The care service is unbelievable; the staff helps each resident personally. They have helped my mom a lot. She says the food is really good, and everyone is nice. They really seem to know what they’re doing and do it well.

First, the owner was very responsive and helped my mother get settled quickly. The meals are good, with a variety of meats, bagels, and fruits. My mother-in-law enjoys the activities, especially the arts and crafts.

I like that it's privately owned. The nurse/owner, Jill, was really nice. I liked what I saw. It's very convenient.
