"Avoid This Facility: Bedbugs, Bad Food, and Major Staff Shortages"
This place is awful - I'd steer clear if you care about your family. They've had loads of bedbug issues and all they did was move my grandma to a different room each time. The food is pretty bad. The biggest issue, though, is that they're always short on staff. The people who work here are generally okay, except for the grumpy dude at the entrance. But, it's just not right to put one person in charge of a whole floor. Seriously, if you love your family, don't send them here. I wouldn't want anyone to experience this place.

"**Mixed Experience at Assisted Living**"
My mom is mostly okay here, but we have some worries. They don't have enough staff, and the food isn't always on time. Sometimes they listen, but fixing problems isn't their strong suit. It's a work in progress, and I hope things get better.

"Lovely Assisted Living Facility, but Lacking in Adequate Care and Staff"
The buildings at this retirement home are lovely, but they're seriously lacking in staff. There's only one nurse looking after more than 50 patients. All the nurses and helpers are really nice people though. We've shared our worries, but it seems like nobody's listening. It costs over $3000 a month here and yet, we're stuck worrying about whether the care is good enough. We talked to a woman named who is in charge of the nursing staff, but all she did was point fingers at the people who own the place. My aunt needs a specific diet and it was a big hassle getting them to get it right. The rooms are nice, but the cost is too high for what you get.

"Understaffed Facility, Concerned Families"
My dad lives at this place that’s really big but doesn’t have enough workers. There are like 75 to 100 folks staying there, and at night, there’s only one nurse and a couple of helpers around. In the daytime, maybe two nurses and three or four helpers. It’s hard to see how they can look after everyone with so few people. The helpers are busy giving out food and helping with the bathroom, so you can’t find them most of the time. The people in charge don’t seem to know much about medicine, and they’re not much help. There’s this new boss lady who says they can’t afford to hire more help, but they keep making the place bigger. I’ve talked to other kids with parents here, and they’re worried too. They don’t want to make a fuss because they’re scared it might backfire on their parents. It’s a really sad deal. The place looks nice, sure, but I wish there were more people to take care of my dad instead of just having a nice yard.

"Great Facility for Dad, Just Needs Benches in Garden Area"
I’ve been really happy with Bellaire at Devonshire for my dad. The place looks great with its nice colors and decorations. The common areas are cozy and welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and polite to everyone. Whenever I have a question or need something, they take care of it right away. My dad seems happier and more content here than he has been anywhere else in the past few years, even at home. The doctor visits weekly to check on everyone and make any needed changes. He’s friendly and easy to reach if I have questions. My dad has made new friends, enjoys the activities, and likes the meals. The garden area for memory care residents is nice for enjoying the outdoors. However, I wish there were benches to sit on there. Right now, chairs from the dining area have to be used, and there are only concrete pads where benches will eventually go. I hope they will get those benches soon.
