Dream Home Assisted Living

"Unfit Nurse Provides Subpar Care at Assisted Living Facility"
The nurse, who refers to herself as an 'RN,' is an unfriendly individual and provides terrible treatment to her patients. She is consistently disrespectful towards everyone and even forces her family, which includes two underage kids, to work there. I implore you not to send your loved ones to this facility. My father was only there for a few days and during his stay, he was only moved twice a day, left to remain alone in his room except for meals, and spoken to harshly. Moreover, he was under the impression that the other residents received even worse treatment.

"Safe and Caring Home for Loved Ones"
My mother-in-law stayed at Dream Home in Cross Lanes, WV, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place. Blessing, who runs the home, truly cares about the residents. The place was always clean, laundry was done daily, and the residents were well cared for. I was very concerned about my mother-in-law’s safety, but I always felt she was in a safe and protected environment.

"Great Care in a Home-like Setting"
My dad stayed here for 5 weeks. We chose this place because we had a good experience here 18 months ago. Back then, Dad needed a place to stay briefly before going to a rehab center to help him walk. I visited a few times each week during his recent stay and always found Dad well taken care of. I would recommend this assisted living facility to anyone looking for a more home-like environment for their loved one.

"Inspection Needed: Terrible Care and Behavior at Facility"
This place seriously needs an inspection. They ought to add cameras and install sound systems, if it's permissible. The owner is rude to both the residents and her Nigerian employees. The first employee she hired, who does most of the cooking, acts just like she does. Their treatment of the residents is awful. She can't maintain a steady staff because of her terrible behavior. She doesn't provide the level of care that trained nurses provide in similar methods. She even makes her own kids work there, and none of them are older than fifteen. I wouldn't even trust them to take care of my dog!

"Avoid! Abysmal Care and Disrespectful Staff!"
My time here was horrid. They failed to fulfill any of the promised health care necessities they initially claimed before I moved in, and the workers were downright mean to me, physically and emotionally. Rather than helping me with my basic needs like bathing and getting dressed, they mocked me and suggested I handle it myself. I feel it's essential that I caution anyone against putting a family member in this place, the lack of respect and professionalism was shocking.

"Caregiver Reported for Inadequate Care and Unkind Behavior"
Don't let the place fool you. If you really love your family, don't let them stay here. Believe me, I know what I'm saying. I've seen it with my own eyes, and I've even reported her. She's not nice to the people living there when no one's looking. She hardly looks after their cleanliness.

"Avoid This Place: Uncaring And Unhygienic Treatment"
Don't let this place's looks trick you. If you really love your family, you wouldn't let her look after them. Take my word for it. I've witnessed it myself and even reported her. She's unkind to the residents when nobody's looking. She barely keeps them clean.

"Dreadful Experience at Big Tyler Road "Dream Home""
We put down $1,500 for the entry fee and an additional $3,600 every month. We were hoping for nurturing and qualified care, and for medication to be given at the right times. What we actually encountered was a disaster. My mom ended up with a broken ankle and was made to stand on it. They didn't even send her to the ER until eight hours later. After she came back, they treated her harshly. Plus, they didn't administer her meds on time because no one working during the day shift was capable of doing so. What was supposed to be a Dream Home turned into a Nightmare on Big Tyler Road.
