"Better options exist. Friendly staff, but terrible food choices."
I'd suggest checking out other places. I picked this one because I really liked the salesperson, . They were super helpful. But gotta be honest, the food here is really bad.

"Great Staff and Lovely Facility, Minor Complaints"
The staff is wonderful. They're great at helping when you need something. The cook has gone out of their way to make things my mom likes. She complains about the housekeeping and thinks they don't do enough, but the place is as clean as her own house was. She also complains they pick up her laundry on Sunday night at 9 pm, which is late for her. But they do everything they can to make her happy, and I think it's a lovely facility. I don't really have any complaints myself.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"
My experience at the assisted living community has been mostly positive. It's very convenient for me to visit my loved one there. The activities they offer have really made a difference for my loved one, keeping them busy with things they enjoy. One thing that can be a problem is that they pick up trash from the rooms very early in the morning, which can wake my loved one up and be quite inconvenient. My loved one likes the food here and appreciates the variety. However, sometimes the servers forget to pay attention to the residents when taking meal orders. I think this might be a common issue everywhere because of staffing problems.

"Not Ideal for Loved Ones"
The place felt too much like a hospital for my loved one. We knew it wasn't right.

"Lack of Liveliness at Rolling Meadows Place"
I liked that Rolling Meadows Place was close to my home. The place was clean, and the people were friendly and nice. But there weren't any activities. It seemed like patients were just sitting around without much to do. The atmosphere was quiet and somber. Unfortunately, it lacked the liveliness my loved one wanted.

"Get Your Contract First: Unpleasant Assisted Living Experience"
I'd advise everyone to get a solid agreement before joining. I didn't do that, and I wish I had. My experience wasn't positive, and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

"Clean, friendly, and good care with some communication improvements needed"
Every time I visit, the community is very clean. The floors and bathrooms are always spotless, and there are no bad smells. The staff is very friendly, though they could improve how they update me about my mother-in-law. The care itself is excellent. They really go the extra mile to provide her with the care she needs. At first, there were some issues with laundry, but that has now been fixed. They also offer a variety of activities for residents. The community is reasonably priced; the staff is good, the layout is nice, and the care is solid. There was quite a bit of staff turnover at first, but that's settled down now. The nurses are great and very knowledgeable. They also make sure to talk with me when I call.

Feeling let down
"Change in Company Leads to Decline in Care at Assisted Living Facility"
When we first moved my family member to this Assisted Living facility, I was impressed. It was recommended by A Place for Mom and she was settling in nicely after a tough transition from her former place which was damaged. She'd had to spend a few days in hotels which confused her a lot, seeing as she has dementia. By the end of the first day, everyone knew whose family she was a part of and I was confident that she would be safe and happy here. Sadly, things went downhill from there when a new company bought the facility. She had more than 18 falls that no one was there to prevent. What's more, I was often receiving calls around 10:30 PM to take her to the emergency room. Even her precious wedding rings disappeared around that time. I was paying extra for her to get additional assistance once her care plan was updated, but I was told nothing about this. Everything seemed the same as before to me. It reached the point where they deemed that she was a behavior problem and they couldn't tend to her anymore. This is from them dealing with a 90-year-old woman! Since then, things have just gotten worse. Now, she's under Hospice care. I'm just thankful that she's finally with people who care for her.

"Senior Care Community Tour Review"
We visited this place for my mom’s care. The staff was friendly and the community has many things to do. The food options looked good and healthy. They also had activities she could join in. Families should visit to see if it's right for their loved one.
