The Crossings at Martinsburg

"Avoid This Place"
This place was our only option because we needed something fast. But beware! They promised residents 2 showers a week, laundry twice a week, three meals, and 2 snacks. The truth? Showers happened only once a week, laundry was even less frequent, and snacks were nowhere to be found. The staff was rude, didn't talk to each other, and even forgot medications. Blood sugar checks were skipped, and they fudged the numbers. We reported 2 issues to maintenance, but only one got fixed, and it took forever. I strongly advise against choosing this place.

"Overall positive experience with minor room cleanliness and grooming issues."
In general, our experience has been positive. We chose this community because the common areas are clean, although my loved one's room floor sometimes seems neglected. She appears well-groomed overall, but her hair isn't always combed. Despite wanting to come home, she seems to be adjusting well.

"Tour Guide Late and Unprepared at Harmony Martinsburg"
We visited Harmony at Martinsburg for a guided tour. The woman who was supposed to show us around was late and acted clueless about why we were there. The whole tour felt very rushed and she didn't even bother to discuss the costs with me. She just handed me a folder, said all the info was in there and that I should call her if any questions came up.
